Heart of Gold Mission Statement:

Founded in 2006, Heart of Gold Charity, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, strives to provide resources for families dealing with the overwhelming effects of congenital heart defects and HLHS.  Heart defects account for one percent of all problems that families and their newborns encounter after birth.

Charity efforts of Heart of Gold Charity, Inc. will directly aid families that are currently dealing with a heart defect situation at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin.  Heart of Gold Charity, Inc. will provide all new pediatric heart families with gift bags that will help ease their hospital stay.

Heart of Gold Charity, Inc. also awards yearly medical scholarships. These scholarships at local high schools will be for students who are outstanding scholars and citizens interested in pursuing a career in medicine or nursing.  Additional money will be used as donations for cardiovascular research and for treatment centers such as Herma Heart Center at Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin and the Ronald McDonald House.

Braden's Story:
