I have the privilege of teaching with Rich at Harvard High School.  Steph and I met during a basketball game at Harvard.  I also belong to Braden’s fan club!

I enjoy photography, counted cross stitch, playing the piano, and cooking/baking.  I’m a huge Bear’s fan and follow the Harvard High School athletic teams.  My “Happy Place” is sitting on my front porch watching the birds or reading a book.

I work for a water treatment firm in management as well as all marketing and advertising duties.  Since a young person I have grown up with sports in my life so I am either participating in some sporting event/activity or watching them as entertainment.  Some other activities I enjoy are boating in the summer, golfing, reading, spending time with my family and friends and traveling to different cities.

I attended Eastern Illinois University with a degree is Business Marketing.  I am a die-hard Bears fan and many people tell me I am about the only person they know who can recite the entire fight song without looking at the words.  I am dedicated to helping the Heart of Gold Charity become a great success to the community and those individuals who are in need of help.

I enjoy being a mother and grandmother. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking care of Braden while Mom and Dad are teaching school. I also enjoy reading and traveling to new places. I also am passionate about my volunteer activities at Main Stay Therapeutic Riding Program in Richmond, IL.

I don't know that I have any words of wisdom but I have learned through our journey with Braden that you have to put things in God's hands and trust Him to bring you through the rough times. I truly believe that is all you can do because God has a plan for everything.

Family is the best support system that anybody can have. My husband, sons, daughter-in-law and grandson and extended family are the best anyone could ever ask for!

I am the Vice President/Secretary of Larry Stevens Construction Inc.  I also substitute in the office at Richmond Burton High School.

My hobbies are my husband, daughter, son, and the dogs, with any extra time devoted to reading, watching movies, walking and attending the family members’ sporting events.

My family consists of my loving husband of 30 years, Larry; my daughter, Katie, who is a senior project analyst for international transportation at Kohler Company and Katie currently lives in Sheboygan, WI; and my son, Tim, who is currently a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin – Madison majoring in Mechanical Engineering. We also have a 10 year old Yorkshire Terrier, Molly, and a 2 year old grand puppy, Slater.

I am a local attorney and Twin Lakes native.  My main hobby is my family, but second to that is sports.  I married my high school sweetheart and we now have a son and daughter.  I spend a lot of time reading and also love movies.  I met Rich part-timing at the golf course, but unfortunately still play about a 25 handicap.

I am honored to be a part of this charity because I admire Braden so much.  His ability to overcome and keep fighting is inspiring. He has forever changed my perspective of my own life and made me a happier person.
